Martin Keown Urged Arsene Wenger to Sell £74m-rated Attacking Duo

Arsene Wenger should not be afraid to sell world-class duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil this summer, according to BBC pundit Martin Keown.

The Arsenal attacking duo have been the key players last season which have finished the season in the fifth place and ended up with wining FA Cup trophy against Premier League champions Chelsea.
Still, Keown believes that Gunners would survive without them, and if they want to leave Wenger should allow them to leave the club.
The former Arsenal defender also slammed the big-name duo for disappearing in the crucial moments for Arsenal.
‘If they have to say cheerio to those two players, then that is the right decision,’ Keown told BBC 5 Live.
‘They have been overindulged at times this season, and they let Arsenal down in the period when they lost twice to Bayern Munich, conceding ten goals. That is the level of the problem.
‘The manager needs to make some tough decisions now. Sanchez’s contract needs to get 100% secured. Is that going to happen? Will Ozil leave?
‘I am sure both players want to go elsewhere because they want to win the Champions League, win the Premier League and maybe they do not feel it can be done at Arsenal. The club is bigger than two individuals.’
Alexis Sanchez has finished the season as a top scorer of Arsenal and losing him, and German playmaker would be a huge blow for the Gunners and to replace them Wenger will have to break the bank.
