It is a remarkable return for a player that effectively flopped at Chelsea and now he has been once again linked with a return to Premier League.
The Daily Mail claim Roma have rejected Liverpool’s first offer for the 24-year-old winger, but they are ready to accept  £40 million bid .
Egypt international has joined Serie A giants permanently from Chelsea last summer after a successful loan spell in Italy.
Chelsea beat the likes of Liverpool to Salah in 2014, but now Reds are close to lure him at Anfield and he could face his former team next season to prove that they have made wrong decision to selling in Italy.
