Antonio Conte Lining Up Summer Move For 25-year-old Stopper

Chelsea have made an approach to sign highly-rated Fulham stopper Marcus Bettinelli, according to the Daily Mail reports.

Bosnia-Herzegovina international goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has completed a move to Premier League outfits Bournemouth earlier this week, and it’s believed that Italian manager Antonio Conte is scouting the market in search of possible replacements for the Bosnian stopper.
The Daily Mail suggest that 25-year-old goalkeeper Bettinelli is on a list of goalkeeping targets and Chelsea have opened enquiries over the availability of the English stopper.
Antonio Conte is keen to bolster his squad ahead of the 2017/18 season and following rumours linking Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois with a transfer to Real Madrid signing a new goalie is a priority for Antonio Conte.
Bettinelli will be aware that his first-team opportunities will be limited, however, with the Blues have returned to a Champions League football Englishman will have a chance to represent the Blues in several tournaments.
The 25-year-old goalie turned down a move to Stamford Bridge back in 2015 when Begovic was still at the club, however, with the Bosnian keeper’s exit this week has increased English goalkeepers transfer to Premier League champions.
