Chelsea Set to Hijack Arsenal Move For 26-year-old Brazilian Defender

Chelsea are reportedly preparing to make an approach for Serie A champions Juventus left-back Alex Sandro who has been recently rumoured with a move to Arsenal.

The 26-year-old defender has been heavily linked with a move to some Premier League clubs in recent weeks, with most recent rumours suggesting him as one of the top transfer targets for Arsene Wenger.
Chelsea don’t look that they need of strengthening in that position following a stunning form of former Fiorentina defender Marcos Alonso.
However, Antonio Conte will need to improve the depth of his squad following their return to European football.
According to La Repubblica, Chelsea are ready to make an approach for the 26-year-old full-back and Hijack Arsenal’s move for his signature.
An attack-minded right-back, Sandro would be an ideal for Conte’s 3-4-3 system.
And with recent rumours linking Marcos Alonso with a switch to Barcelona could force Antonio Conte to sign Brazilian full-back from his former team.
The Gunners interest in the player may have cooled with speculation that they are on the verge to complete the signing of Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac.
