Agent of World-Class No.9 Held Talks With Chelsea Last Month

Chelsea held talks with the agent of Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandowski last month.

Polish international forward is reportedly unhappy at Allianz Arena following a lack of support from former AC Milan and Real Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Chelsea are on the hunt for a world-class striker to replace Diego Costa and have made enquiry for Bayern Munich forward.
According to Goal, Chelsea have been in touch with the representatives of Levandowski earlier in may.
The Blues would have to break their club-record fee to complete the signing of one of the best No.9’s in the world, Goal report.
Bundesliga champions issued a statement on Friday, threatening interested parties with the FIFA punishment.
It read: “Robert is under contract at Bayern and only recently renewed his deal until 2021. Bayern Munich waste no thought on a Lewandowski move.
“There are no talks with other clubs, and there won’t be any. If other clubs negotiate with players who are under long-term contracts, they risk Fifa punishment.
“The agent also confirmed to us that he has not held any contract talks.”
Manchester United were believed to be keen on to lure Polish forward at Old Trafford. However, Mourinho has now interest in the striker.
Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is desperate to sign a quality striker by July 19 and deal for Romelu Lukaku seems to be on the cards after personal terms agreed with Belgian forward.
