Liverpool Handed Huge Blow In Their Pursuit of Record-Breaking Welshman

Premier League giants Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal dealt a huge transfer blow in their pursuit of Fulham starlet Ryan Sessegnon.

The Cottagers manager Slavisa Jokanovic has spoken out amid speculation linking teenager with a move to Premier League.

The 16-year-old Welsh wonderkid who has been dubbed as the “next Gareth Bale” has been sensational for Fulham this term with his performances helped Jokanovic’s team to secure a place in the Championship play-offs.

The Welshman has scored 7 goals and being named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year.
And It has seen him linked with virtually every top teams in the English top tier, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea among those persistently linked with a move for Fulham’s starlet.

However, Jokanovic expects the 16-year-old to reject any approach this summer to continue his development at Craven Cottage.

‘I am confident he will be a Fulham player,’ said Fulham’s Serbian manager.

‘It not just depends on myself but depends on different sides too, but I believe this is the right place for him.
‘He is a young player, and he needs to learn – he needs the minutes with us, and I believe he is in the right place for building himself and to be ready for an important step that is in front of him.
‘In life, it is normal to show ambition and want more things, but I believe at this moment it is the right moment for himself to stay with us and improve his promise.’
