Chelsea Ready to Sell 23-year-old African Defender This Summer


Chelsea have reportely slapped £7million price-tag on wantaway defender Kenneth Omeruo.

The Blues have signed Kenneth Omerueo from Belgian outfits Standard Liege back in 2012.
The highly-rated centre-back has spent four seasons out on loan and now is believed to leave the club on a permanent basis.
Turkish clubs are showing an interest in the signing of Chelsea ace this summer and following the tough competition in Chelsea’s defensive end he might be considering an exit from the club.
However, the Blues have reportedly put a £7million price-tag on the Nigeria international and hosts of Turkish club are ready to splash the money for African star.
Speaking to website Score Nigeria, the source said: “There are some clubs in Turkey who are interested in signing Kenneth at the end of the season.
“They will include Kasimpasa, who he played for last season, and also his current club Alanyaspor.
“But the snag will be if they could come up with the £7million Chelsea want for the player.”
Omeruo’s current deal with the Blues runs until the June 2019.
Omeruo has played  24 games for Alanyaspor this term, scoring only one goal.
