Arsenal £34m Transfer Target Names His Dream Club

Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal has admitted he couldn’t turn down the chance to play for La Liga giants Barcelona.

Ivorian midfielder has had a superb season in Ligue 1, found the net for six times and provided nine assists to fire the club to third place and now Nice have an excellent chance to play Champions League football.
Nice have recently confirmed that Seri has a £34million release clause in his current deal and Arsenal thought to have expressed interest for his signature, however, it seems that Premier League isn’t his favoured destination.
In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Nice star revealed his admiration to Barcelona and the Catalan club’s legend Xavi Hernandez.
‘If Barça comes to sign you, you can’t say no. No way,’ he said.
‘I have supported Barça since I was a child, when I was still in my native country, in Ivory Coast. I was always a big Cule (Barcelona fan) and those who know me know it well. Then, when I moved to Portugal, I had the chance to follow their games closely.
‘He (Xavi) is the player I have always tried to look like. I can close my eyes and remember some of his games and passes with the Barcelona shirt. I always took attention to his football.’
