Euro Giants Slap £50m Price-tag on Liverpool Transfer Target

Real Madrid are demanding £50m for Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United transfer target James Rodriguez, according to reports

The Premier League giants are all in the race to sign Rodriguez as the Colombia international has ”fallen out” with Real boss Zinedine Zidane.

James has been in the starting eleven just 14 times this season, scoring 12 goals and making five assists. And the Sunday Mirror claim he will quit Santiago Bernabeu during the next transfer window.

However, despite the playmaker’s lack of action, nothing short of £50m (a steep fee for even the biggest clubs in the world) will prove enough to convince the Royal club to sell the 25-year-old.

Philippe Coutinho has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona and it seems Jurgen Klopp’s side believe they can sign James if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, reports in Spain and carried by the Manchester Evening News, suggest the Red Devils also have a deal in place for Rodriguez this summer. United boss Jose Mourinho is interested in the services of Colombian and the talented playmaker could, therefore, act as a sweetener.

Chelsea and Arsenal also said to be keen on bringing the highly-rated No.10 to England, as they are searching for a quality replacement for Willian and Mesut Ozil respectively, as Brazil and German stars are said to be unhappy in London.
