Arsene Wenger Has Joined Race For Prolific Premier League Striker

Arsenal have become the latest club to join Man United and Chelsea in the race for South American superstar Sergio Aguero, according to Calciomercato.

Top European clubs have been linked with the signing of Argentina international forward in recent weeks after being dropped from Pep Guardiola’s starting XI against Swansea City and West Ham United.

The 28-year-old has had to settle for a spot on the bench, while 19-year-old Brazilian wonderkid, Gabriel Jesus had found the nets in both games.

Jesus’s emergence has poured doubt over Argentinian forward long-term future at Etihad Stadium, even though The Express reports claim that the Citizens are keen on to hold on one of the best strikers in Premier League history.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea have been all monitoring the situation of Sergio Aguero, and now it seems that Arsene Wenger has also joined the race.

If reports are true Argentinian forward will leave the club during at the end of the current campaign.

Considering situation up front at Emirates Stadium Aguero will secure a place in the starting lineup and Arsenal will finally have a world-class striker who can score over 20-goals this term.

Meanwhile, Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez is yet to agree a new deal with the Gunners, despite months of negotiations and signing a quality striker like Aguero would convince Sanchez to pen a new deal at Emirates Stadium.
