Agent of Arsenal £140,000 A-Week Star Responds Transfer Rumours

Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil is ‘committed’ to the club, according to the midfielder’s agent.

The German midfielder has been heavily linked with an exit from Emirates Stadium due to his poor form, especially against the big clubs.

The 28-year-old has less than 18 months remaining on his current deal and negotiations yet to start with him over a contract extension.

The German’s come in for huge criticism for his terrible performance against Bayern Munich in the Champions League 1/16 tie that has been a humiliation for a top team like Arsenal as Germans thrilled Arsene Wenger’s side and the game finished with a score 5-1.

However, despite the ongoing talks over a new deal, Dr Erkut Sogut says the playmaker is still fully committed to the club and is apologised for the Wednesday defeat.

‘I don’t think the criticism has affected his performance or his mental state,’ the agent added.

‘Mesut is committed to the club. There is no doubt that he will perform at 100%, with total professionalism and commitment as long as he plays for Arsenal. Nothing will change that.

‘He is sorry to the fans, and he’s sorry that he and his team-mates couldn’t give the fans a better result in Munich.’
