“I would calmly go” – Rivaldo Urged Chelsea Forward to Complete £80million China Move

Former Barcelona forward Rivaldo has send a message to Chelsea star Diego Costa amid Chinese transfer rumours.

Brazilian football legend suggested that he would calmly leave Stamford Bridge Stadium if he has been on Diego Costa’s place.

The 28-year-old was the subject of a £80million move to China after Antonio Conte dropped him from Leicester City clash.

It’s believed that Chelsea fear to lose their star performer in the middle of the season as they sit on top of the Premier League table.

But Rivaldo feels Chelsea’s leading goalscorer should make the move to China.

‘Players in that situation think about their future don’t they? About their children and about their family,’ Rivaldo told Sky Sports News.

‘It’s a unique opportunity for a player. Of course, he’s already in a big club, but this is a unique opportunity and players will always think about the personal side of things.

‘Just as the club, you know, the club will have to sell… when they are offered that much money, a club will certainly sell a player.

‘So, it’s the same for the player. And I sincerely think that I would calmly go to China.’
